Officer Stacy Sanders has served as the Fayetteville PD’s Homeless Project Officer since 2001. In March 2017, she relocated her office to our 40-bed humanitarian men’s shelter, The Lodge. The homeless population has come to know and trust her. She does the right thing and is their advocate in the community. Officer Sanders also supervises the FPD staffing of our monthly Homeless ID Program. This provides a picture ID with a fingerprint, signature, and all relevant identification and medical conditions. This helps our family members when they need an ID for basic services.
The ID card hardware & software was funded through a grant from The City of Fayetteville. This has helped many of our family members. They use the ID to get the services they need.
