Ray Helton,
Executive Director
May 2018
Greetings Everyone,
Frequently our supporters ask how are things going at the Lodge. So, let me share this update about what our men living in the Lodge are accomplishing.
They are making great progress; in the past year 150 men have gotten jobs, 54 made positive moves from the Lodge and 34 have made professions of faith in Christ.
We have made several important changes since opening the Lodge. For example, we created a case management team that has had a very positive impact for our men. Each Lodge resident creates specific financial, social and spiritual goals to accomplish during the next year. The men create their goals during their first week living in the Lodge.
A very important adjustment that we’re making is adding dinner to our Lodge program. We did not plan on serving dinner each day when we first opened because the Salvation Army served dinner daily between 5pm and 6pm. We
assumed that our men would eat there before checking into the Lodge each day. However, the Salvation Army ended its open dinner program.
So, we are asking church groups and businesses to donate dinner one day a month for our 40 Lodge residents who are transforming their lives. Your group can stay and serve the meal or you can drop it off at the Lodge. Please
contact our Lodge Manager, Mr. Darron Adams at 910-835-5112 or Ms. Janice Voter at 910-433-2161 for details if your group would like to minister in this way.
Please continue to pray that God draws men into a personal relationship with Him and that each man trusts God for the strength and determination to transform their lives. Thank you again for partnering with us because
Operation Inasmuch would not exist without you. May God continue to bless this ministry and each of you.
Sincerely in Christ,
Ray
