Greetings everyone,
Spring has arrived with longer, warmer days, budding trees, blooming flowers and traditional spring cleaning. Last week a group of young Village Christian volunteers helped beautify our Frink Street houses. Then, our Frink Street residents and other volunteers cleaned up Frink Street and we organized the storage room in our main ministry building.
Soon our Law Day volunteers will help us beautify our prayer garden and an Eagle Scout candidate will spruce up our volunteer entrance.
Spring is also a good time to reflect on cleaning up our personal lives. We celebrated Easter earlier this month and it reminded us that Jesus cleaned us too; He washed away our sins so that we can be white as snow. We have had 34 Lodge men allow Christ to wash their sins away during the past year. How wonderful is that?
