There’s always something to celebrate around here and we had two big ones this month! August 7th was our 14th anniversary of operating and August 10th was our 11th year anniversary of serving breakfast. We celebrated all week visiting 7 faithful churches and 7 faithful businesses who have helped us, served with us, and loved on us for our 14 years.
Craig Morrison, our Executive Director, reflects on our time, “Celebrating our 14th Anniversary was exciting and extremely helpful, and as the new Executive Director, to meet several of our faithful friends. We have so many churches and businesses that support Inasmuch, the hardest part was only choosing 14. I also appreciated the opportunity to go out and meet the pastors and business owners who have served alongside us for so many years.”
Each visit was wonderful and was met with surprise and gratitude. A few groups have been with us literally since day one! Manna Church was our first serving breakfast team on August 10th and Hay Street UMC hosted our Bread n’ Bowls event for 11 years. The commitment and heart to believe in us from these 14 groups are what keeps us going, along with the grace of God.
We are excited and humbled to continue in effectively serving our community in the latter part of 2020 and into next year. Craig adds, “As we move into our 15th year, I’m excited for what God has in store. We are continuing to see lives being changed through the volunteers who come each week to share the love of Jesus in practical ways. By meeting physical needs, we open the door for the Holy Spirit to change a heart as we pray for insight and wisdom.”

And our 7 businesses: Callahan and Rice Insurance Group, Concrete Service Co., Office Furniture Now, All American Fire Protection, Pro-Chem Pest, Superior Bakery, and Copiers Plus.
