Here at Inasmuch, we look at serving breakfast, Monday through Friday, as the open door for everything else we do—it really is just the beginning. Alongside breakfast, we offer a variety of family services: laundry, showers, hygiene kits, sick calls, and reading glasses.
For men who want to and are willing to change their lives and get out of homelessness, we offer our Able Life program. Our Able Life program is a 4-phase program intending for each man to adapt, grow, and learn—all through the power of Christ.
When joining the program, each man commits to setting realistic goals: financial, spiritual, and social. One has to maintain having a job, treat others with respect, and stay sober. The first three phases occur in The Lodge and as a man matures and becomes responsible, he is eligible for the 4th phase, living in one of our residential houses on Frink Street.
We aim to create a safe, secure, and Christian environment. We want each man to feel comfortable and trusted to focus on his work, his development and ambitions, so he can become a productive citizen in society.
We have much to praise God for. There are several positive moves and moments in The Lodge, despite COVID-19!
Lodge brother (Aaron Larkins) moving in with his sister
Lodge brother (Kevin Jernigan) getting a job, new apt, and getting married
Lodge Brother (Lee Hall) graduating high school
Lodge brother obtaining car insurance & Learner’s Permit & working toward getting his license
Lodge brother knocking down a life barrier
Lodge brother getting a new job
Thomas Dawson reaching his savings goal, receiving a donated vehicle, & moving into Frink Street
We ask you to keep these men in your prayers; that each one may have physical and spiritual strength, a good and humble heart and attitude, His peace which surpasses all understanding, and joy.
