Demographics

• 40 bed Humanitarian Shelter exclusively serving men.
• 36 metal commercial single beds,
  standard size of 30” x 76”.
• 4 oversized beds 36” x 80”.

Emergency Accommodations

• The Humanitarian Shelter will operate 365 days per year.
• On White Flag events; ^<32⁰ or below with consideration to wind chill factor, the Shelter will serve an additional
  15 to 25 men.

Guest Facilities

• Laundry -3 washers & 3 dryers.
• Restrooms – 7 standard toilets –
  2 Handicap accessible restrooms.
• Showers – 7 showers.

Neighborhood Impact

• The Humanitarian Shelter construction will be in
  keeping with the construction and finishes of
  the seven Frink Street Homes.

Security

• Future headquarters location for Stacy Sanders, FPD Homeless Project Officer, will be located in the Humanitarian Shelter.
• Entry Lobby will be enabled with security buzzer & security glass.
• Surveillance Cameras monitored 24-7 by the FPD.
• Facility Manager – overnight resident, paid staff position.

• On a corner lot with surrounding fencing and parking.

Staffing

• Volunteer staff will be comprised of Christian churches, businesses, civic organization educational venues and other non-profit agencies.

Timetable

• Construction to begin in Winter 2015
• Planned occupancy date is Autumn 2016
